MEASUREMENTS - The wire cable cover opening measures 4-1/2-Inch (114 mm) L x 3-Inch (76 mm) W, The base measures 6-Inch (152 mm) L x 4-1/2-Inch (114 mm) W. APPLICATION - Depending on the size, location, and mounting position, clamshell vents work well covering cable pass-through holes, to shield compartment vent holes and blower exhaust openings. EASY INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL - One piece design for easy installation, it can be screwed directly on to hull or superstructure horizontally or vertically. Pre-drilled holes - mounts using 5 screws (not included). RECOMMENDATION - Using a marine-grade exterior sealant should provide a secure and waterproof installation for your clamshell vent cover.
